Fear of Light.

Cuando recién comencé a conocerme, sentía mucho miedo de mi oscuridad, de los “esqueletos en el Wardrobe ", to suffer again for what he had already suffered from the failures, etc. At the time, I realized that all this could be overcome and did not have the importance that I (the ego) gave. Then, I realized that my biggest fear was the light, the potential he had, not to be sufficient for that purpose, he could create.

It happens to everyone. Just that most do not pass the initial fear and continue to deal themselves with fantasies of what they find. However, this is an incredible waste. Nobody said it better than Nelson Mandela:

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our dark side that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. That
playing small does not serve anything in the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people around you will not feel insecure. It is assumed that all have to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. And no, this is not just in some of us in all.
And so when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously giving permission to others to do the same. And so when we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others. " Posted by Laura Foley
