Magic
night we live on Monday at the Metropolitan Theatre, full of virtuosity and musical quality that gave us Jeff Beck which certainly lives on. At exactly 21:04 the night began what for my taste, has been one of the best concerts I've seen in years and my life too.

"Plan B" was the first song he played, and which could immediately make clear why it is considered one of the legends of the guitar.

Those who were fortunate enough to attend give ourselves completely, creating a warm atmosphere despite the cold which prevails in Mexico City: the good Nestor dusted off his "air drum sticks, starting to pretend that he is also a star rock. In the front row with his family came Carlos Alvarado the progressive rock group of extinct "Chac Mool" willing everyone to enjoy a great night full of jazz, rock and blues.

The former guitarist of The Yardbirds' group that left three of the best ever (Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page), continued to his repertoire: "Stratus", "Led Boots" and "Hammerhead", the latter of his latest album titled "Emotion and Commotion" by the way, highly recommended, with a sound that seems to pay more attention to cleaning same

Jeff Beck continued to captivate with more songs like "People Get Ready" a wonderful instrumental version letting his band also shone with Jason Rebello on keyboards; Narada Michael Walden on drums and Rhonda Smith on bass accompanying Beck and his guitar, but for my taste, I would have preferred alignment video "Live At Ronnie Scotts" with such ... Wilkenfeld, as master says Rafa and Colaiuta.

Dressed in a sleeveless jacket and a silver bracelet, Jeff Beck continued with "Rollin '& Tumblin' ( a cover of Muddy Waters), " Over the Rainbow "and" Dirty Mind ", with which heralded the end of the great evening and when we had captivated all, let it ring the majestic "A Day in the Life" The Beatles .

There was only one encore, despite the screams in the Metropolitan Theatre, Jeff masterfully played "How High the Moon", a cover again, this time the missing guitarist Les Paul.

and could not miss the cherry on the cake, finally, Jeff Beck magical concert closed with "Nessun Dorma."

Beck finally said a few words in appreciation - Thank you, Mexico, we hope to return soon -.

All present were given before him by their cheers, the master of the guitar has earned thanks to the virtuosity that still runs through his veins and that makes him a living legend, and ended a dream come true in 2010 -

I can only owe "Nadia" that is my favorite, now just need to close the cycle with " The Wall" 18, 19 and 21 December at the Foro Sol .. there we !
